My name is Tammy Kordik. I teach art at Nelson Prairie and Nelson Ridge Schools. I have a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Northern Illinois University. This is my 15th year of teaching art. As an art teacher and an artist, I look forward to nuturing your children's artistic education. Your child will have art twice a week, every other week. All lessons are based on the Illinois Learning Standards and State Goals for art. Each grade level explores the elements and principles of art. Each grade level also explores a variety of media. Art history, artists, and cultural art are an important part of the experiences. |
