Nelson Prairie recently completed a coat drive sponsored by the New Lenox Police Department.
Our school collected a total of 434 coats!!!! Our first grade winner was Mrs. Crawley's class
with a total of 23 coats. In second grade, Mrs. Jones class collected 46 coats, and our top
class was Miss Nooner's third grade class, who brought in 71 coats. The New Lenox Police
Department rewarded Miss Nooner's class with a pizza party on November 18.
