The mission of the Nelson Ridge LRC is to provide opportunities for all students to become seekers of knowledge and users of various media and to become independent lifelong learners
 by providing students with personal reading materials which will nurture a love of reading and foster an appreciation of literature.

Students visit the LRC for the study of information literacy skills, technology based research, literature appreciation, and independent browsing.
